VERSACE FOR H&M

Now a frugalistas we always look for designer fashion at fast and affordable prices and this season has brought out some of the best like Karl Lagerfeld and Giambattista Valli for IMPULSE by Macy's & Gwen Stefani's Mini Me as well as Missoni Collection for TARGET just to name a few...but one collection that has been all a buzz is the upcoming collection by the very luxury Versace brought to us by H&M. Set to hit the stores this SATURDAY, November 19th, with the nearest location being Dallas (my soon to be new home)...while I'm rather down I won't be in town I just cant wait to hear about all the organized chaos that will be there...Versace gave us such bold colors and playful print and always this designer label is defined but by the details.. I selected a few that really caught my attention so please peruse the pieces and tell me what you think

To some this may seem busy but I think its beautiful- its like the 60's thrown onto the prettiest palate you ever did see

Simplistically chic sheaths- but its all in the details and Donatella knows how to give great detail

 I'd wear each of these pieces together as an entire ensemble but also as seperates from the scarf to the high heeled neon pink sandals

My fave look thus far because of its versatility- while its black it is still jawdropping because of the attention to detail

 Very very European for a man to rock allllll pink but I love every pretty little pink thing about it

SOMEBODY ROCKIN KNOCKIN THE BOOTS

As Fall and Winter approaches I get sooo excited by all the endless possibilities that can be put together with fashion- from layers of clothing to the cutest footwear especially boots...I looooooove booties....thigh highs, flats, stiletto styles, calf-length, booties and every style in between if you know what I mean...and this season I am on the search for a pair with a bit of drama...its all about the details be it a bold color like my fave pair ever of emerald green boots that graced Sessilee Lopez' gorgeous gams in last year's Victoria's Secret (November 29th this year), a chain accent or even a purrrfect leopard print or lace texture...you can wear the most simple tee and jeans but if the boot game is mean then the look is OH SO FRESH and clean...so check these out and tell me what you think

Absolutely love the electric blue and fringe detail

These babies are by Bebe and from the height and lace ups to the tassels- makes me wanna cowboy for Christmas to lasso

These beauties are by Betsey Johnson of course- I love the hint of pink and the haute back ankle ruffle softens the roughness of the military look

Once again all about the details by Colin Stuart in this deep aubergine if paired with the perfect simple dress they are divine

For the lady who loves a bit of rugged edge with her footwear but when it comes to her look she still cares

This was the first pair to catch my eye....hmmm I wonder why- could it be that the style name was the Dominic...I think so

 I will always have a love for leopard and any animal print for that matter...this bootie is a beast and so is that uber thin golden heel

Everyone can appreciate a perfect pair of flat boots but the quilted there gives it a little more flair

Then there's the brown boot that is reminscent of last year's Louboutins with out breaking the Christmas bank

Who's the lady....lovely lady....real fine lady...in lace...just lovely

Sass and boots that push up that arse....why yes I'll take two pair thanks...the platform...the spikes...up to the thigh in height and premium leather...I don't think it gets any better

PARIS FASHION WEEK

Paris Fashion Week was held this month and in true Parisian pull and form- they were years ahead of American Fashion....the likes of Chanel, the works of Phoebe Philo, YSL, Valentino, Chloe and Miu Miu were some of the few that showcased their new Spring/Summer 2012 collections but most fashionable featured from bold and structured looks to the dainty and demure..femininely whimsical to the geometric and galant...Check out my fave looks and see if you can figure out who designed what piece..

 

My Spring Summer Must Haves include: pastel shorts, a neutral oversized comfortable knit overlay sweater, wideleg linen pants, one piece preferably a dress in cornflower blue, a fluid and flowy maxi skirt with accordion pleats which I feel I can find vintage or thrift and some more tie tops...

HOW WILL I LOOK FOR HALLOWEEN?

Ok so this year I have gone back and forth on what or who I will be for Halloween...Three years ago I was a tiger....then a black panther/ Rihanna from Run this Town....then Teyana Taylor/Ciara....notice any patterns...yeah I have a tendency to be bi-polar or a schizophrenic every year being two people because my indecisive ass can never decide and this year proves to be no different...A few months back I thought about being Rihanna again- but this year the RED HEAD version...however I have a feeling that just like Nicki Minaj last year and with the release of her new video- there will be alot of "RIHANNAS-REVIVED" rummaging their wanna be ragged asses around town...so this year I decided to take a different approach and pay homage to the my two hotties of the past....my childhood crushes Prince and Michael Jackson...How might you ask?...Well I would like to be either Naomi Campbell Circa "IN THE CLOSET"  Days as a MJ video girl or Appolonia from Purple Rain and of Vanity 6 Fame  OR  Dirty Diana...Now yes no one has ever seen Dirty Diana except for the small glimpse you get of her in the limo in the final scene of the video dressed in all black...anyhow....check out these looks and tell me what you think
