ALL ABOARD LAST PLANE TO PUCCI

Imagine you are boarding a G-5 en route to the destination spot of your dreams....are you looking forward to the feeling of the flowing water of the seas of Fiji running through your feet or the brisk winds & black sands of the beaches of Bora Bora....you're escaping the life & running away...are you with your girls or that special guy that caught your eye....what do you pack?...there's one uncertainty that I know I won't have because I would turn to the effervescent and ethereal looks of Emilio Pucci....this SPRING/SUMMER 2011 in MILAN was pure FIYAH & ICE!!!!

Every look was luxe and lovely with gorgeous gals & their glimmering gams gliding down the runway in the most breath taking prints with drawstring details down to the over the knee boots. The lady that rocks these looks definitely has to be in tip top shape like model Jourdan Dunn who has been  everywhere this season. This collection was once again proof as to why other countries and not only their haute couture but RTW collections are always completely 2 years ahead of our great nation & Pucci was no different with its great attention to color detail, crocheted creations & the fluidity of each frock. All I can say as I depart from the plane is please pass the PATRON & THE PUCCI

AGENT CHANGE VS. GROWTH

So in true Domo form- I felt inspired to write this note about the issue of change vs. growth. I've been on a hiatus from alot of things and some may say I have changed but I just think I've outgrown some things- b****** in particular. In my expert opinion HAHAHAHAHA! (I'd be a better expert on the mating techniques of the American Mudduck), but no I believe that a lot of times people confuse the two.

CHANGE-

This is an element that can be both good or bad- when someone changes they can do so for the better or for the worst. Some may say that someone or something influenced that change but I for one don't want to be changed because I love who I am. Many times in relationships and friendships we try to change that person but why? Did you not fall in love or in some cases infatuation with whom you thought they were in that very moment if so why CHANGE who they are? Could it be an inner jealousy or insecurity that leads you to want to change who that person is or could they just not be the one for you

then's there's GROWTH-

Growth in my opinion has no negative connotation- it only represents positivity. You cannot grow down only up- you can only grow closer or apart which is not necessarily a bad thing. Its just recognizing that two three or even four people are blazing separate trails and if you truly cared for that other person you would elevate them in their growth not seek to leave them stagnant and wiltering just because you selfishly are a miserable ass mudduck

I definitely have my faults and my flaws but I recognize them in order to OUTGROW them not- CHANGE the beautifully talented amazing effervescent, loopy lovely and loud, irrational at times individual that I have come to grow, know and love

So here's to growth NOT change IN all of your lives and thanks for checking out my blog,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMI D!!!!

So my friends all know I look for any reason to get cute even if its just going to the mall- hey what can I say- I'm a girly girl- anyhow this weekend was no exception because it was the 22nd birthday of none other than my CAMI D also known as Courtni "10 miles from 35" Martin. Always bringing a smile, so fiercely driven and stupidly gorgeous we just had to celebrate her special day. Although we did not go to Vegas- we will use the motto "WHAT HAPPENS ON 6TH STREET-STAYS ON 6TH STREET" haha  from the mass attack of mudducks to the debauchery brought on by the duck in front of hmmm never mind!! Shout out to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and to my Courtni- here's to many more years and a successful 2011 for CAMI DE EXCLUSIVE!!!

So he just walked up on us and asked where we headed we said to get a friend a tattoo and he decides to just rip his shirt open for us to see-----BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Dang the things men do to get a woman's attention- EPIC FAIL!!!!

DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK I BEEN HERE FOR YEARS- A RESURGENCE OF TRUE STYLE

Per my recap of the Fall/Winter 2011 Fashion Week I felt the need to highlight what I considered to be the TOP 3 collections THIS YEAR-make note that these are collections covering the entire year. These were collections that I could see myself rocking every RTW piece available and that rarely happens. Bout as rare as you catching me wearing white shoes after Labor Day or hell any other day for that matter. Some may be shocked and surprised by my selections but these 3 designers in my opinion GOT THAT FIRE...

FIRST JENNY PACKHAM PRESENTS HER SPRING/SUMMER 2011
"THE ICE QUEEN TAKES HER SEAT IN HER FRONT OFFICE"
"Packham’s regular design presence on the red carpets of Los Angeles infuses the Hollywood crowd with the glamour they adore. Her designs have been selected for stylistically acclaimed and Oscar nominated film and television productions including Sex and the City, The Devil Wears Prada" and I for one could see all of her looks on everyone from Grace Kelly to Glenda the Good Witch

Next is PORTS 1961 PRESENTS
"STUDIO 51 MEETS DIANE VON FURSTENBERG"
Created by Fiona Cibani- Each collection has celebrated, as Fiona says, “the free spirit of the global traveller treasuring the motto of Ports 1961: Global Soul, Urban Spirit.”

Look at this JUMPSUIT in my new favorite hue of cobalt blue

AND last but not least- SIR TOMMY OF HILFIGER presents
"THE LUXURY OF LIVING THE LIFE"
this man I will say surprised me in a good way. He gave the originator my fashion father- Ralph Lauren a run for his money by revitalizing the look of the Americana lifestyle- I will eat my previous words and let everyone know DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK TOMMY BEEN HERE FOR YEARS
